Help us achieve our dream! Welcome to Grill and Bar.com. We are a very small company with very large aspirations. With three owners, and minimal capital, we are pursing our dream of opening a small grill & bar in Southern California. The only problem is that we lack the initial investment capital to get started. The goal of this site is to help change that situation. Grill and Bar.com is an idea created by three friends that have decided to control their own destinies together by forming a small business and being their own bosses. Our belief is that we have sound, stable concepts and ideas that can flourish into a good business venture that hopefully become profitable in the long-term. Our only stumbling block is financing. We are tired of working to make others rich. It is time that we start working to help ourselves instead of lining the pockets of our bosses with our hard labor. We do not expect to become rich from our dream, but we do hope to make a decent living by working for ourselves rather than for others. Our chosen business: a restaurant. Why a restaurant? At one time or another, each of us have had restaurant experience. During our collective experiences, we have discovered that we all enjoy the atmosphere, the fast paced environment, and the joy of assisting people celebrating a meal out. Each of us are familiar with long hours and small businesses, so we believe we know the commitments it will take and the sacrifices we will have to make in order to get our dream going. Why haven’t we gotten this together before? Well, we have talked about getting a restaurant started for many years. We have put together ideas, we have gathered small amounts of funds, and we have not been able to put together the necessary capital. Be it family issues, economical issues, health issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, each of us has had to deal with “Life” along the way. As the “Average Joes” that we are working for the “Man” in the high cost of living environment of Southern California, we haven’t been able to gather up enough capital to do this right. We do not have rich family members or friends to loan money or invest money into our ideas. We have not been able to get together the amount of money needed to get further financing and take on this project properly. The entire reason for this site is to gain capital in order for us get our project up and running. We are not looking for hand outs, we are not looking for an easy way to make a buck, and we are not out to just line our pockets in a get rich quick scheme. We are out to raise capital to build our dream and be our own bosses, plain and simple. We hope that you will take the time to look over our site and help us with our venture.
